We had almost a whole day to kill, so we drove around the city of
Olathe. We took a trip to
Wal-Mart. It was huge, twice the size of the ones at home. It was extremely nice inside too, they should redo all of them like that. Anyway, we finally were able to get a load and hit the road around 4. We drove right inside of Oklahoma and stopped for the night at a rest area. We saw a lot more land today, but it was so pretty. This land actually had hills and farm life on it. We also were able to finally see some water on this trip. We have driven all over Oklahoma and Kansas and haven't seen any water. We were
beginning to think that all the water had disappeared. The signs on the bridges would have the name of the creek, stream, or river that was suppose to be under it, but NO water was under the bridge. It was so strange.
a bunny at the Trans Am office...Richard said that they hang out there all the time. The big trucks didn't even scare it. So cute!
Olathe, Kansas
Yes, I did, I took a picture of
Wal-Mart
Kansas or Tennessee????
We came
thru the home of Wyatt Earp, but there were no signs that said anything about it, so I took this picture. This was several hundred miles away from his actual home.
Wyatt Earp Inn
Beautiful land with cows!
